Default Whats wrong with my tranny?

Hey everone well my tranny has been acting up for the last couple of weeks, at first the car wouldnt want to go into any gear and i had to force the shift stick into the gears and when ever i would come to a complete stop and start in 1st gear the car would start shaking really bad, well yesterday i put in a brand new clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel. The car goes into the gears real nice and grips really nice but it still shakes whenever im in a complete stop and start from 1st gear (also does it in reverse) it does it as soon as i start taking my foot off the clutch and thats the only time it does it after that it picks up fine even when i switch gears its fine, my old clutch was real messed up and thats what prevented it from going into the gears but i still have this one problem which still shakes alot and i would like to see if this had ever happened to anyone or if anyone knows if i would have to rebuilt my tranny or anything like that, all the help is appreciated, thanks. (its a b16 hydro tranny)

I was gonna say flywheel might be glazed over and have hotspots but you said you have gotten a brand new one.

is it a hydro or cable clutch?

my hydro master cylinder is leaking and oops i didn't fill back up the fluid and the brake fluid was at the garage for it so i jammed it in gear to start it and kept my foot on the gas and brake autox style while at lights so it wouldn't die. yea behind a cop even, like no sir i am not reving my engine at you i just need to keep the car from dying, my garage is right over there.

i really need to fix that sooner or later but one problem at a time

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

With some cars, motor/trans mounts and rubber shift bushings get worn.
So now the motor is in a different spot than the shifter expects it to be,
and that affects shifting.

Worn mounts will cause vibrations at traffic lights and when stopped.

When were yours replaced/rebuilt? I have had good luck stiffening
and/or rebuilding motor/trans mounts. Did that ever make a difference!

If it turns out that your mounts are cracked, etc., pm me.-Bob

How about checking the obvious, Did you check your oil level in your tranny? I knew somebody that had almost the same prob, he put genuine honda oil in his tranny , smoothed it right out.

well thanks everyonw for the help, i took out the motor today and the rear motor mount was worn so i replaced with a new one, the car doesnt shake as much, but still does. Someone told me that its probably my pressure plate and i would need to get it adjusted, but idk i will see what happens. - Da1andonlyjinx did your friend use transmission honda genuine oil or just regular motor oil to put it in his tranny let me know thanks.
