rain water in motor

I would turn it by hand until pistons are close to top dead center,
and swab the h2o out with t-shirt strips, and a long piece
of electrical wire.
Did they do the free alternator test before you bought the new one?
Other posters have offered some good ideas on oil in the pan.......-Bob

or if the car can turn over, take out the plugs do what is necessary for no fuel delivery and try to start the up motion of the pistons should blow out the water.

Yea, if you can atleast turn the motor it will be enough to blow the water out of the cylinders replace the plugs and air filter and change the oil and filter. Then start it. Good luck. Sometimes when you think youve gotten lucky and your motor runs like a champ again. The rod could be bent so miunte it wouldn't effect compression readings.

look i forgot to tell u guys that when i went to go press the gas the car was idleing at 1,000 and when i press the gas i stold it never went past 1500 rpm so would u think i still bent a rod
