ls/vtec engagement problem
oh btw robert.. there is an O-ring inside of the head that if it is not there it will not have enough oil pressure for vtec to pop. I know when this head was on my block vtec popped. You need to check for the o-ring. -Ben

you mean the o-ring in the third cam cap with the dowel pin? That will not cause vtec to not engage. I have ran heads with them and without them, dosn't make a difference. Also the LMA's will have NO effect if vtec pops or dosen't. They will just cause valvetrain noise. Get it right.

Yea I was wrong.. I apoligize for the incorrect info.. I for some reason had a single cam on my mind.. and I was thinking the LMA's when on the top. I'm sorry the O-ring on the cam cap could cause the problem.

U are running a pr4 ecu? If you are running a vtec ecu is the speedo working? LOL I know my vtec on my b16a wont work off the ecu cause my VSS is bad(vehicle speed sensor) Just wondering. Carry on.
