Default looking for advice dealing with a shop

for starters i live in the norteast near philly orig. from sarasota. Well i ordered a jdm b16a from a shop up here. it is coming from cali. well I ordered back on the 8th of last month (May)they said 7 to 14 days and it almost been a month now. I have called twice to check on it. they are nice about it and stuff and said the delay was probably cause by holiday weekend. I mean the shop is a pretty busy shop, but I guess I'm just freaking out because it's $3000 of hard earned cash I've paid out already for it. Just curious if anyone else has ever had to wait this long? and any advice on how I should deal with this. I dont want to call with a bunch of attitude and then they install it half ass when it gets here. I just think this would have gone alot smoother if I was still in Florida.

instead of calling the shop you should go to the shop and speak with them inperson so that they know that your serious and they should call the company that you got the motor from to see where its at. bcs i trip over missing 40 dollars now 3000 that someones life to me , where did they order the motor from

find out where the motor is coming from and call direct to see if they are backed up filling orders. then you know if you need to be upset or not. i have ordered many motors and had some arrive quicker than expected and others take forever. g/l
