Default Need som help with 90 Civic hatch Alternator!!

Man why do they put the dam alternator in the wrong dam place. I have a 90 Civic Si Hatch and ive allready un bolted the alternator. But how do you get the dam thing out. without removing something vital. like the master cylinder or the cv axel. Please need help I need to get this dam car running soon.

Ive tried for like 40 minutes trying to manuver it around but cant get it out.

Ive tried on b series in ef's and if i remember correctly you have to remove the master cylinder OR intake manifold OR cv axle like you said...I think once i got away with removing the fuel rail to get enough clearance, but cant remember if it was an ef or not..
Try the master cylinder though, chances are your due for a brake fluid flush anyways(every 2 years).
Good luck!

This solution is not for everyone who wants a showroom stock car...........
It's only for people wanting to make a car faster to work on....

On some cars, if you remove the plastic panel, back where the
wipers plug in, there is a trough under the plastic where water drains out at the edges.
With some cars the firewall can be cut; above the bottom of the trough,
and cut slightly wider than the alternator, and an aluminum inspection
cover made to cover it, once the alternator is replaced.
The time spent making the opening and cover will SAVE a person time later on
every time they have to get that alt out, or need some
extra room to work.........-Bob
