So who can do it? I checked the shop and servcies directory, none said anything about machine work.

I personaly will never turn a honda crank because oem only uses the tri metal and you end up turning it off but its up to you..Cedric at modern performace in largo is the man..He will have it done in 2 days or less for sure..his # is 727-546-5653..I dont think he will be there till tuesday and he is closed on weekends. he does it all from turning to sleeveing and balanceing.

 

Do you know how much he charges?

 

you can get a brand new crank from Napa for 200$ w/ matchign bearings and is micro polished and balanced.

 

Ya BUT napa cranks turned like 30 over right? i know all SBC cranks are..I have seen people go threw napa and discount cranks in a week..

 

usually .040 , ive ran 3 or 4 of them and never had a problem.

 

I don't even think honda recomends going .30 over.
