yeah he's right for that, but yo you can get Forged pistons with better rod per stroke ratio's so the pistons could hit a higher TDC mark, get new valves, or tune your head to a better valve lash and clearance to go with that piston replacement and get an aftermarket head gasket that can hold it's own weight in controlling compression and is thin aswell. Then it should be a little more sicker for you, or replace your shortblock with a LS, GSR, or B20 shortblock and drop that head of yours on it and see what happens. Then, you'll have a little beast of an all motor setup.

if you wanted to without having to tear your motor apart. Turbo for some quick hp gains. That would make it even more then a fun -er car then what you have already.
I know you said all motor but sounds like you want more power out of what you already have.

to hit 12's on the motor need a 1.8 block and high compression pistons. if plannng to stay with the 1.6 you will need some ctr pistons and i got some if you need.

Ls/vtec with 12.5:1 compression and some lumpy cams, nice header, and a good tune, and your car will be a beast!!
