i am swaping my head and i cant get the fuckin crank pully off to change the timeing belt, ive been using my friends craftsman impact gun that should be putting down at least a couple hundred pounds of trq

anyone got any tips on how to get this thing off

 

more psi and a 1in impact.

 

Naw, you have 2 options. Take out the starter wedge something in there and firmly kick the wrench towards the back of the car, or remove the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel cover and wedge something in there and do the same. I recommend the 2nd of the two, easier to complete. Let us know how it goes.

P.S. Don't you use the impact, use a ergular ratchet with a 3/4 socket (i believe it is) and your set.

the motor isnt turning though,, i got a screwdriver int he flywheel since i took the inspection cover off

like i said before...bigger impact + more PSi = pulley coming off.
