Default H22A or H23A???Also need help with my civic!!!!

Im lookin to buy a prelude but which engine is better for upgrades? The h22a or the h23a?and which year prelude has the least problem's 92 through 96.Also wonder how much insureance wise is this car gonna be i heard 350 a month. Also I need some advice on what to do with my civic.I noticed some ticking in my engine one day and decided to see what the problem was.I took it to car tune automotive and they said it was a wrist pin.So i was like ok well ill just do and oil change,My oil drain plugg is stripped so it leaks i decided to take off the oil pan just to have a look inside.Well i ended up taking off the the peice that holds the connecting rod on and my connecting rod bearing was broken in half and there where bronze metal shavings from the bearing in my oil pan this only broke in cyl. number 4 closest to the timeing belt. Some people are telling me to get a new engine and some people are telling me to buy a new set of bearing and thrust? washers. What should I do? thanks David

the H22 will give you VTEC, i hear all of the trannies suck, but i don't know the difference, the h23 should be cheaper, and you could do a head swap, or you could do what i'm debating

and you'll still have the vtect, and more aftermarket support for the H22, so long story short, i vote H22, i can't say about the civic, others can post about that

I have a Built JDM H22.. and it doesnt give me any problems... a stock h22 will give you way more capabilities and Vtec offcourse
It all depends what you're looking for... I think (not sure) its actually easier finding an H22 then buying an H23... so if you want advice on what to get,
go for the H22... any other questions, go ahead and ask!

i think hes buying a 4th gen, and has the choice of the H22, or H23, and H23s are more common, and either way, Hmotors sells them both

O, and insurance is a bitch, its a "sports car"

mine runs 17s...sportscar?

lol.. well i have to 2 cars on my insurance.. I have a 2005 Scion and the 92 Lude u see on the Sig.
When I had the scion itself was $225 (FULL COVERAGE)<<brand new car..
And when i added the Prelude. it only went up $10..
now its only $235
On the Prelude i only put PIP though..
There was no point to fully cover it..
