Default EK b18c1 swap questions

I am about to swap my stock EK with a b18c1 and want to know what exactly I will need for the swap. It is a 99 DX Hatch. I want to buy exhaust but am not sure, do I buy a normal exhaust that will fit a 99 civic hatch or do I need a exhaust that will fit a b series si or something? Just wondering if everything will bolt up at the header / downpipe. Also if someone knows of a local shop that will build my engine for me, that would be great. I am going turbo with the car if that helps.

your headers will need to be the header/downpipe that go to the head you are putting in the car... and if you plan on going turbo, you wont need header/downpipe, unless just for a temporary use... buy a cheap header until you turbo it. and if you want it to be worked on, pm blown99civicsi, (John) he just opened his shop not too long ago and invested tons of money in it... he is located in sarasota he can get you any part at a great price... plus he can give alot more details than i could about this swap. so if you have more questions ask him, im sure he would be more than happy to help you out, and trust him, he knows what he is talking about

The exhaust is the least of your worries.

There is some wiring to be done. depending on if you want to keep it obd2 or witch i recommend converting to obd1. Here is a link with alot of good info. Anymore info you need jsut shoot me a PM.

you will need 99-00 si mounts..and you will have to wire in vtec, vtec pressure sensor, secondaries, and maybe somthing that i am forgetting. and you can use any B18 (a,b,c1,c5) header....a b16 header will not work well.

save yourself wiring headaches and use an ex or si harness, has vtec already and you wont have to repin the iac. if you are going obd 1, you can buy a conversion harness or contact neil sutton and have him modify the stock harness.

not worth buying a new harness since everyone wants like $150 for an ex harness and you will still have to wire in the secondary butterflies if you are using the stock gsr intake manifold....its not that hard to rewire everything.....10 minutes of internet searching and 1/2 hour of wiring and your done.
