Red face 95 integra Gs-R making weird noises

My integra gsr is making weird noises [like small squeals] whenever I press the clutch when shifting gears & letting go of the gas[whenever I'm slowing down]. I got ALL the belts changed... new timing belt & etc. My friend said it could be a pulley. Also whenever I rev it in 3k+ rpm's after it drops down... it makes a rattle noise. I thought it was my exhaust piping hitting the heat shield. However I made sure the piping wasn't touching the heat shield. What could be the problem?? Please HELP. The noise is driving me crazy!! Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,

ps, I got the belts changed @ acura & also they said they can't find out what the problem is. They say it's my exhaust system[ the jdm RS-R Ex-Mag, the quiet stock looking exhaust] .

First off, nice looking car. Have you gotten anyone to give it gas at idle with you up under it or something looking for the cause of the noise?

Heat shields can still rattle if they aren't touching the pipe. You need to make sure the bolts holding them on are nice and tight.

and yeah—nice looking car.

what kinda hangers are holding up the exhaust in the middle if any? you need to make sure you have that middle hanger holding up the middle of the pipe, and make sure that it has the rubber hangers on it, i used to have this problem when i first put my exhaust on my car, everytime i rev up and let it go down, it souded like there where some beads in my exaust ratteling around. another time was i had washers on my down pipe bolting it to the catback, the washers were loose and they rattled, check both of these and let us know what you find out.

also, how is ur a/c, if you a/c clutch is going bad it will make a rattle noise as well, also try to take of the a/c belt and see if you still here the rattling, plus how old is your exhauast, if it gets old enough the honeycomb in side of the cat will break up from vibrations, u may wanna get under you car and band on your cat ( not too hard) and see what you hear.

I got it fixed. It was the header down pipe area...where the 2 bolts bolt on to the bracket. It was making the maDD rattles! Thanks guys!

Thanks,
