Default quick question.

i got a d16y5 motor and i want to put a 90-91 civic si tranny on it. when buying a new clutch what should i buy it for the si tranny or for the motor? just a little confused on what to get. or will it even fit any help would be appreciated

what mounts should i use the one on the motor or the mounts in my car? any help would be appreciated

The tranny will fit and get a clutch that matches the tranny

The tranny. you will also need to make sure you buy it for the correct year tranny as 88 has a different spline count. if you are using a cable tranny i would assume this is going in some type of civic hatch or crx so you would need to use the stock mounts and brackets from your original year car and motor.
