warped head ?¿?
was wondering why my car runs like shit,....CRX with y8 swap,....ran perfect,..then like shit but would like kick it runnin good sometimes now it doesn't even run good @ all,..was wondering if it might be a warped head,..or what are the conditions of a warped head? sounds like its off timing but i already done the timing and it's perfect,..THANKS TR

ok i took the sparkplugs out and no water/oil on them or on the pistons,....no oil in the radiator,..cleaned out the intake mani-fuel rail-injectors,....changed out the ECU with a friends p28,....checked all fuses,....checked the fuel filter,....i don't kno what it could be other than a warped head,..how do i tell if it is a warped head??

Umm a warped head can lead to cooling overheating within the block, sore or hot spots occuring, damaged thermostat cooling pressures causing the needle on the gauge cluster to fluctuate- not proper cooling system processing which hot spots could lead to scarfing up the eterior of the cylinder walls which can blow the head gasket and more if badly unpalpable.

Were all the plugs burning about the same color?
Are all the plug wire ends looking ok, in tight, and
replaced in the right firing order? Is the distributor
locked down tight at the right timing?
No oil in Rad.......also no h2o on dipstick?
Does the fuel spit strongly out the hose when disconnected at the fuel rail? Some cars have more than one fuel filter......-Bob
How .......warped:
If you loosen all valves on one cylinder, and hook an air hose to the spark plug hole, you will hear a hissing sound outside the head if it warped,
presuming that other symptoms did not show warpage in some other way.-Bob
