Default Traction list

Howdy,
Can you list the items that will help a fwd car hook? It would be nice to know if you have the item and how much the item has helped. Thanks.

I think a spool is a lsd that doesnt turn, make the car unstreetable but alot of drag cars have em. I think. When people say suspension what does that mean? Coil overs?

Spool is a solid differential. Both wheels always turn all the time. Lsd gives on one side of the car when you are turning to make turning easy and also easier on the axles. Lsd also gives sometimes when launching in which case the spool will always turnover both tires. Upgraded axles always help too when launching hard. If its a track car go w/ spool - daily helical lsd.

There is quite a bit. Boost by gear, a bias ply tire or slick, traction bars properly setup, alignment, limit straps, etc.

yes, a boost by gear ebc will be a must in your situation to get the most out of it. Bars also.

A spool is like a straight axle - in a fwd car it just wants to go straight. Turning is not fun.

Get with me Ryan, I have something for you.
