any one able to install a vortech supercharger and cooler?
i just picked up a P/N 4HC218-048SQ supercharger and cooler kit with 3,500 miles on it.... catch this... the price???? $850.00 bucks!!! kid is in the airforce and on his way to iraq... how much would some one charge to install it or how hard is it to install....thanks
damn dude did he give you the complete system?
what are you installing it in? the fuel management system isn't the greatest and there are ways around it, we did that for my crx (walboro 255 fuel pump, 450 cc injectors, zdyne).
for installation i had my friend do mine, though i didn't have the room for the aftercooler though and he didn't want to touch it
check the vortech site to see who thier vendors are and they may know a good place that will do the install for you

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

just make sure to get an alternate fuel management setup. 255lph walbro, 4500cc ( or larger depending on boost), and either hondata, crome, uberdata, or hondata. The vortec 12:1 fmu makes the fuel pressure raise 12psi for every psi of boost, do the math and you see that after 8psi of boost you get an additional 96psi of fuel, add that to the stock 35-40psi of fuel pressure and you end up with 131-136psi of fuel......way more pressure than you need in your system. Of course with stock injectors and ecu this is the only way to get more fuel past the injector pulse, but with added pressure comes hotter fuel, and hotter fuel transfers to a hotter combustion chamber and a bigger chance of detonation.
We can take care of it, install and tuning. Give us a call.
