Default Honda Tuning May 06

So Honda Tuning had a write-up on getting the power of a b out of your d series engine... the point was the build the d up and get b power for half the price of a b swap... i thought it was pretty good but only had one question. Where can I get zc pistons for $40?

That d-series engine made like 136whp, I can make that with a stock LS.

yeah it'll make that on a stocko ecu... and I can make 130-140whp on a stock LS. Stock LS ecu's run rich and have NOOOO timing. take a lil gas away and add some timing, then you got 130-140whp. IMHO, Any honda engine with less than 200whp is a waste of time, you'll still be slow.

If you'd like to pay waaaaaaaaay over $1k to pull your single cam and re-build with ZC pistons then re-install, just for 146whp. You need to have a cat scan done.
