not sure if the rail wil fit but i know the injectors will and also what year is the manifold? if its a 99 or 00 you will need to plug some holes if its 96-98 youl be fine.

a y8 i/m gasket and i think you will have to use the y8 iacv...but im not 100% on that....also the emmissions sensor is on the rail of the y8 and next to the t/b on the y7 so you will have to make somthing work....good luck

for plug and play a 99-00 ex. but if you want all the power its got you gotta convert to obd-1 and get it tuned.

also you will have to either

a) rewire the y7 harness for vtec and some o2 sensor work or
b) use a y8 harness.

I'm looking to do the same thing. there's OBD-IIa and OBD-IIb. The best thing to do is get a conversion harness to OBD-I and get an OBD-I ECU. Better research it just to make for sure that's what you want to do.

Now for the install on the head, basicly it's bolt on and go. all you have to do is wire and ECU. The blocks were identical other than the stamp, just bolt and go.

I have a SOHC VTEC Complete head for sale. It's off a 96-00 EX. I was going to do a mini-me, but I'm swapping instead. I have pics if interested. I'm letting it go for $100.
