Help tapping my block for oil lines

Default Help tapping my block for oil lines

i'm gonna go ahead ad install my turbo myself, i just don't know where or how to tap the block for the oil lines, i need to know where and how(need pics to go with it, i'm a visual person) thanks

you dont need to "tap" anything.

the oil feed line will come from the oil pressure sending unit port in the back of the block(it has 1/8th npt threads)

the return line will go down to the oil pan and there are many ways to do this. do a little research on honda-tech.com on "oil return lines" and youll have a better idea

The block actally has BSPT threads . Get a BSPT to NPT adapter T with a 1/8th NPT to -3 an fitting and run your feed line to your turbo

Get under the bottom of the car behind the block
..


Take this off


thread Oil Pressure sender into T

Now tighten it back in , but try not to over tighten it as the BSPT threads are semi-fragile

It should look like this


Now run it to your turbo oil feed spot and tighten


It should look something like this
