Default Ball joint Q

Ok im having trouble using a ball joint press because it wont fit. If I get the lower control arm partly on the ball joint, and screw the nut the rest of the way, will it gett all the way on the ball joint? Same thing for the spindle to the upper control arm ball joint. Im thinking the nut would force the suspension into the proper position, but would like a second opinion.

hehe i new you had to be useing it,Ummm i no it down not fit dont bother useing it the best thing i say is take it some where or use a Hardened hammer yuou have to get it in far to be able to use the Lockclip please dont just bolt it down...cause if you do and it is not 100% in the you leave that tiny space for viberation and you hit something hard it will pull that nut right off and strip it and come loose

I've used hammers to get them in place and put the circlip on with no problem ... or are we talking about different balljoints?
