how much would it cost to find a vtec head a good ls block that doesnt have eleventy billion miles on it and then have someone that knows how to PROPERLY build a ls/vtec and can show me examples of there previous work?????? how much is a machine shop gonna charge to check the block and head and maybe resurface either one?can you use a exsisting wiring harness or do you have to mod one?? how much is a gsr tranny gonna cost because thats the only one ive heard thats worth a shit so to me this ls/vtec idea seems pretty costly... im just curious i dont know alot about ls/vtecs every one that ive raced thats pretty much stock ive always beat down on them in my stock h22a civic im not saying they are garbage but ive just never really been too interested in them seems like everyone and there mother can build a ls/vtec these days

ITR'S??????????? NOOOOOOO Dont get an ITR. ITR's are th3 slowness g3t th3 b16'ss! An Eye Tee Are is gunna be too expensive! And be super slow!

pretty much stock LS/vtec = 150-160whp
LS/vtec with b16a pistons(pr3 or p30) and ctr cams = 190whp = easy and cheap

I have made over 200whp with an NA LS/vtec with CTR cams. I have also made well over 250whp with a stock LS and a SSautocrap kit @15psi. They both cost about the same. Slo_SI is running a stock 150k+ mile LS making really nice power(over 275whp) with a ghetto kit(besides the turbo, SC63) @14-16psi on pump gas. with my half assed street tune(I HATE obd0 hondata)

say what,,itr's are slow..maybe some cash for them but sure as hell not a bad engine..ITR'S are for peaple that have cash to spend and not looking for the cheap way out..

Realy? cause my B18C hatch walked an LS Turbo CRX on 8 pounds And all my ITR had done was a tune, Spoon header, Stock intake piping with a POS filter and 2 1/4'' Exhaust w/ a off brand pos muffler JB gave me. With full interior minus carpet. With a slipping stock clutch.

and that was fucking years ago...check my gallery buddie..i have had every b series motor there is..i have a fully built ls/vtec now and a new rebuild o miles ITR so what does the screen name mean bro....
