why is it that honda owners seem to expirament the most
you hear of civic people putting integra dash's, crx's putting integra front ends, and who knows what other crazy/stupid stuff. why is it always honda owners? i have never heard of mustang guys putting crown vic front ends, or chevy guys putting a z28 front end on there cavalier. why is this???

There isnt much difference on cobra body parts for the most part, and plenty of ppl will do cobra hoods or front bumpers.
front what ive seen, hondas didnt really change that much over the years, stuff is easier to bolt in. Its not quite as easy for mustangs and camaros for the swap unless you spend months of your time.
When the SN95s first came out some guy grafted a whole SN95 front end onto a fox body. It was pretty nice, but nothing easily done or cheaply done. Theres one guy that finalyl swapped an entire sn95 interior into a fox. According to him, he spent hundreds of hours on the swap to get it to work. It looks nice, but you honda guys dont have spend that much time for a dash swap.
sides the mustang movement was never really about looks.

i think its cause the honda/acura guys are more passionate about our cars..in the aspect of we are more willing to throw thousands of $$ into a project over a short period of time to get it the way we want it...where most people restore cars over years we want it in days..
i think mostly because the parts are so available from engine to interior we just can't help ourselves.
i salvaged the 89 crx dash and center console into my 91 hatch after steve told me it was possible and helped me install it
look at any engine that has been out or comes out, honda uses so much of the same design in bolt patterns or what have you and bam, we frankenstein the hell out of it, even if a minor modification is needed
then there is just the natural disorder of upgrade disorder that every car girl/guy just seems to have

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

i laughed when I read the question for the first time. I never had thought of that, but it's true.
with all the interchangable parts, maybe that's why Honda and Toyota are profitable companiees while GM and Ford aren't. Honda can keep it's costs down by making one part that will work for 10 different cars.
pics or BAN!! haha.
