Not to be an ass but, civics are everywhere, and everything you could do to a Civic/CRX has already been done or you have to have this this and this or it will not look good or it will not look clean blah blah blah. It's like things that make a CRX look hot

EVERYTHING JDM, a lip, A slam, and some nice rims.

Civic look hot.

CF duckbill, a slam, a lip, some rims, and TONS OF JDM STUFF.

And people that dont have alot of money try to make there car "diffrent" or "unique" without being all ricey and thinking if it's OEM it's not rice!

And the FEW kit's that do look good like the Mugen kit for the CRX are expensive as hell. And aftermarket support for Hondas SUCKS ASS when it comes to apperence. And the only things you can get that look good are hella expensive I.E Mugen, Spoon, etc etc.

because not much is changed and everything fits so nicely....which is the way all car companies should do it...i mean why change a good thing....why reshape the interior when you have a sleek look and no blind spot? why change the bolt pattern for mounts under the hood when they work really well?

if you could take a geo and put a LS1 in it....why not?...you know you would too.

well, for me, its because i have to, my engine sucks, gotta get a new one, from a new prelude
i gotta use accord axles
AEM big brake kit for the civic fits mine with a 5mm spacer
the biggest parts list for my car is the interchangeable parts list
the only front end i would even consider though would be the INX front end, but i like my headlights too much
but i think it'd look weird on domestics and stuff, like when trucks do the corvette tails and stuff in the roll pan, just looks dumb, but like the skyline tails on a BA4 looks pretty good

im not talking about motor swaps because i can understand that perfectly... a single cam only has so much potential.... but i dont get the dash's, body parts ect..

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

i think alot has to do with availability and cost. its easy to find a dash and they are relatively cheap, also they bolt right in with little or no modification. not all hondas have swappable interiors tho, i could put some prelude seats in my accord, but my car comes with better seats and a better interior anyway. only thing i can swap on the out side is JDM lights and JDM bumper. also i do see domestics with swapped front ends, mostly trucks, and mostly escalade front ends on chevy silverado's.
