True. He should unplug the o2 sensor and see if it runs better after it warms up. Im just thinking what all changes in 5 minutes after the car warms up. ECT signal and o2 sensor feedback are all i can think of...

The O2 will give you bad fuel economy, not make the car run bad. It also would through a check engine light if it was bad.

Change the filter; then just for shits clean the injectors. If you have an extra $40 then get an injector grommet kit from discount. Makes sure you are getting a good tight seal on the injectors.

Maybe a mass airflow sensor..or somthing of that sort...does it run rich or lean? and...and does it havea skip? ide try spark plugs and a basic tune up...and defanetly a fuel filter bro...and if thats not it i know that sometimes the filtter on the actual fuel pump gets gunked all up...maybe drop the tank and take a look at it...the filter for the fuel pump pick up is like 7 bucks...and the fuel filters like 10...so try the cheap stuff first...then maybe a mass airflow sensor..or a o2 or shit like that...
