Stock GSR in a semi gutted EG Hatch on 20" slicks = 13.4

GSR is plenty of pep for a daily driver and they still ride out pretty good as well

if your looking for a really cheap swap, find a jdm m2a4 h22 tranny paired with a f23a1 or f22b1 both very cheap yet have a shitload of torque ~150hp and ~150tq. complete swap shouldnt cost anymore than 1500 for everything. then whenever you get some more dough, put an h22 head onto the f22/23 block

Ya that's me, damn good memory. Ya I did have a 92 white hatch with gs-r engine f/r brakes. it was a lot of fun and I miss that VTEC. Riding in a DX is fun, but nothing compared to a GSR. The gas mileage of the DX i get 35 MPG consistantly.

Thanks for the input peolpe, i have decided what to do yet, so keep the answers coming!!

if you do an h22 u will run into some isssues with steering, there will be alot of extra weight on the front end an it will tend to plow alot. i personally would not do and h22. my friend had one and it was quickin a strait line but you will have to slow dow alot 4 cornering. i had eg with a singlecam vtec, it was stokas hell and i would ride out on gsr integras. im getting ionto a gsr hatch now and i think that would be your best option. it has good weight distibution and is pretty damn fast.

Driving an H22 car is different yes. But correctly tuned suspension and good wheels and tires the and car will drive just as well as an B or K swap. The H22 will destroy any gsr swap stock for stock.
Is the K-series any heavier than the B? I would say that you better make plans for a good suspension setup for this too.

These are excellent sources for more information. I suggest you do some more research before you spend your money.

im a fan of the b16 loves to rev tons of aftermarket support and super reliable not the fastest but if you set up your car for more of a road course i think the b16 is perfect
