1996 Honda Accord LX vs EX ?
I am getting ready to purchase a 1996 Honda Accord LX and I was wanting to know if anyone knew why the HP of the LX is 130 and the EX is 145? And also what are the differences if they have the same engine?

EX = vtec, LX = no vtec

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.

u can find a 98 ex head for like 150 man just swap the head if im not mistaken the lx is lighter anyways your better off

Dont buy a Honda w/o the Veetak!I had a 95' LX accord, the shit was sloOO0000oo. Then the econo-Vtec kicked in. Wahoooooo!
Like the guy up there said, just swap the head. Is there anything else such as the vtec solenoid?
