what should VTEC engage at opinion's???

Default what should VTEC engage at opinion's???

just wondering what do you guys think is the best RPM's for VTAK to engage at????

i have mines set at 4'9, 5 ish

On what motor? 5k with vafc tuned properly on a b16 has nice gains. Notice i said tuned properly though. Air/fuel mixtures and what not too. Not just buying the thing and adjusting your vtec point. Mine is currently at 6, but will go down to 5,500 soon enough.

every car is different. with minor bolt ons, the factory engagement should be fine

i had mine set at 5900 and it hit pretty hard for 1.6 vtec

Do two dynos. One on the low cam, one on the high cam, set VTEC where the hp curves cross. This is optimal.

the 1992-1995 Honda Civic EX/Si / del Sol Si with p28 is 4500.
