Default 4.40 b-series ring gear

There are two different size 4.40 (66 tooth) ring gears for the b-series trannys. One has a smaller inner diameter the other has a bigger innner diameter. Which is which ?

Thanks for the info.

The LS has the smallest diameter.(4.26)the gsr/b16a has the middle size(4.4). The itr LSD has the largest diameter(also possibly jdm b16/jdm GSR viscous LSD)(4.4/4.785). I'd like neal to chime in and possibly correct any mistakes I have made.

well , its bigger in the inside diameter than a 92-93gsr. To my understanding 94+ LS, 99-00 SI , and 92-93 gsr have the same ring gear and differential.

Are they the middle size??

speaking inner diameters...

small can be either 4.26(64Teeth/15T) OR 4.40(66T/15T)

larger inner diameter is 66 and belongs to a GSR/Type-R 4.40final drive.

so....the smaller one you have is a B16, and the larger is your GSR/Type-R
