4.40 b-series ring gear

Thanks for the input. So, there are only two 4.40 rings gears then? The case said J1 , but anything could have been in there. I have a aftermarket clutch type lsd hooked to the ring gear and am unsure what else the lsd could be used with.

So the answer is .......... its a gsr/itr compatable LSD. Jackpot !

if it came out of a J1....its probably not a GSR/T-R.

well, it does have 66 teeth and it does have a larger inside diameter than a 92-93 gsr ring gear, so..... that was my conclusion.

Could you tell me a inside diameter in mm or inches. I would love to find out exactly what application I could use this for.

any one have a gsr tranny disassembled or have a definate 94+ gsr ring gear. That way I could try to match it up.
