Toda Questions
just checking. Are you turing it three or four teeth with the belt tensioner adjusting bolt loose, then tightening the adjuster bolt. If you are jumping teeth, it sounds like the tensioner is not set and thus the belt is loose. Also, make sure you have the right belt. Even if the springs are stiff, all that means is you would have a hard time rotating. If it's skipping, the belt is loose or too long.

Should I be using b16 timing belt? Perhaps I got the wrong size belt?

Ok. I got my belt on. I think its quite tight but I only have about 45 degrees of deflection in the belt.
I stumbled across this thread: http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1505906
Using a TODA belt or OEM makes no difference really providing it is tensioned right. That said, I am hearing a bit of whine (read thread for details) so I am going to loosen tension a bit and rotate crank to see whats up. Glad I'm not driving her around yet.
Heres my next question. I got the belt on and drove the car home from my garage to my apt. I drove easy - don't worry. It was still very rough. I assumed my timing was off a bit so I took off the belt the next day to redo it. Now, when I get on the throttle at all, the car bogs down and sputters. I'm thinking timing is off, but I've done it like 3 times and it's not rocket science.
The fuel system is still stock. I have ordered Walbro 255 pump and have sourced 440cc injectors. They still need to go in, but that would cause me to run lean ... not sputter and bog down like it is, I would think. Ideas?

When I've run those cams in the past I had to adjust the cam gears and fuel values to get the car to idle. Try advancing the gears together to try to get a base idle and then tune from there.
