Default why NA and not turbo

I am wondering why would someone opt to go all motor instead of adding a turbo to it as well? Wouldnt the turbo give the car a little more power even at low boost levels? If you had a 11:1 compression built as hell engine with direct port nitrous couldnt you add a turbo at 10-12 lbs of boost and make the car faster? Or do you not use turbo because of cost or bbecause it might hurt the engine? I cant figure this one out.

Boost likes lower compression. 11:1 + boost = you get

Tuning is a big part in the equation + head studs, bolts headgaskets, etc.....

Its really all what floats your boat, somehting with that compresion and boost and nitrous wouldnt be so practical to drive everyday. All motor is alittle (barley) more practical to an extent. But if ur trying to make 250whp NA u dont wanna drive it everyday. Boost is the way to go if u want big power. If ur into to twistys hardcore or somehting u prolly wanna go NA.

honestly , with all the money in my new motor , i could have chosen to go boost...BUT. I didnt. YOUR question is like asking why some guys fuck fat chicks...its a preferance.

FYI , boost+nitrous is hard to tune.
