Default Problems with 00 si, Oil vaper - irregular idle

I was driving down the road and i noticed the car hesitated twice. When i got home the idle was around 1700 and it was blipping a little bit. It didnt fluxate much but a kind of hmming resulted from it. I popped the hood and heat rushed to my face.. It felt abnormaly hot. I noticed excess oil vaper on the Valve cover..

Where do i start? you guys got any ideas?

Its on a b18c5 block and reg b16a head.

The car has a good amount of miles on itThe car still starts and drives, but this has me asking.. How long? I have a feeling its going to break the next time i have to drive.

- compression test

- leakdown test

- coolant levels

Do/check those three items and you'll on the right path to figuring out what's wrong. Did the car actually overheat? If so, thats one of the tell tale signs of a blown headgasket.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
