4-1 header on ls swapped ef

has anyone put a 4-1 header on a b series ef w/ the stock crossmember. if so got any pics and how much do i need to beat back on the crossmember lmk thanks

Don't do that!!!

Get a after market crossmember. Don't beat or cut that. You will weaken it and that is something you do not want to brake on you. It is not worth it for such a little hp gained from a header. Port match the stock one or get another crossmember.

i had a Gude 4-1 one peice header on my CRX, all i had to do was notch the crossmember about a 1/2 inch in and about 2 inches wide...never had any problems out of it what so ever...known many people to cut the crossmember and never ever have any problems...i used to road race my CRX with it cut....
