new turbo = gay
so i pulled my turbo off and there is now shaft play and looks like it hit the wall in the cold side..........what the fuck i put less than 3k on it and it's a precision.... anyways i prob need it rebuild. Who does it relatively cheap and do i need a new compressor houseing? and if you guys want to see pics ....tell me because im feeling rather lazy today

Call the place you bought it from. Warranty it out. Is the turbo leaking oil?

negative on the leaking, it just hit the sides of the compressor houseing i see marks from it hitting, lightly but hitting none the less

+ i doubt i will get it warrantied there is no way for me to prove that i bought it 7 or 8 months ago and just installed it 4 months ago

the turbo has scratches on one side of the housing. I think you will be fine, looks like you got a shit load of compressor surge at one time or another and it just barely hit the side. The scratch isn't all the way around, so the play isn't that fucked up....IDK, lets pull the block now and have fun with your mangled rod(s)....lol

if you bought it from precision call and ask if it can be returned. NONETHELESS they will blame it on you and make you pay 297.oo bucks like they did me!!!!!!!
but they will fix it.
dont know why one of thier turbos would have done this cause they have pretty good bearings and boast about side load protection.
but you could atleast call em and ask

sure you can prove it. Whats your payment method? Paypal? go to paypal.com and search your transactions, then print it out. If you did it with a CC or Debit card, use internet banking to search back and print it out. Cash, review your ATM withdrawals through Internet banking. You can prove it, don't get screwed mang. Precision gives you a 1yr warranty anyway.
