Think of it like this... When you turn on a water hose, it comes out at a constant pressure and flow, but if you kink the hose, the flow is reduced, although the pressure will increase... normal= normal pressure and full flow, kinked = higher pressure BUT restricted flow... Kinda see where Im coming from???

Also, think about it like this... When you take a piss normally, the piss just kinda rolls down the back of the urinal... Now, if you try to push the pee out faster, making it come out at higher pressure, it kinda just splashes off the back of the urinal and goes everywhere... Therefore, it coats the urinal better with LESS pressure

too high of pressure can be bad. Don't really know what too high on a honda is. But I'd guess you wouldn't want more than 100psi.

driving around you should have atleast 60 psi with a vtec oil pump.i do have an itr pump but i dont think they put out any more pressure then others.is your pressure realy high at start up.my first start its around 55 then goes down some..good luck with it but i would be changing that pump out before its a huge problem..
