my motor is somewheres in the neighbor hood of 11:1-11.5:1 stock bottom end besides high comp. pistons, and stock 200k+mile head minus crower 403 cams, and it had an 85shot dry was the biggest shot its had, ran fine as long as the fuel was up, but now i finally got a wet kit and im planning on doin 100shot or maybe more, but traction is the only issue on how much im going to spray....
P.S. nitrous backfires SUCK teh big one
, took me 3 days to get my car back driving again...luckily it wasnt anything major...

nos works well with high compression! the most important thing is to have your timing retarded enough for what ever size shot you're using. if your motor's fully built, then you can spray the hell out of it! just get like a msd digital 6 ignition system so you can control the amount of ign. retard whan ya spray. everyone talks about detonation, but you simply retard enough and you wont have detonation! any good tuner can set it up for ya! we've run like over 450 shot on the big chevy's and never had any problems!
as for my teg, i just set the timing for the nos so it runs like crap on the motor but when the spray comes on it's a fun ride. i have to do it that way cause i'm from plant city, and out here we cant afford all them fancy msd things!
