Ok... so you want to go big on a D... huh?
8 grand gets you the motor and head "fully built" the clutch to put the power down, the tranny with the quaife... you'll need it, some axels to hold it down and an AEM to tune it.
Don't forget to add turbo, manifolds, throttlebody, IC, piping, injectors, fuel to the mix along with any labor you'll need.
If you're thinking that's too much, then you can't "fully build" a D. cause 8 grand in a lot less then just a start.

and I can give you more info. I started a thread on the progress of my build, and you can look in my "gallery" not "TR garage" for pics. If your not looking to spend big money then just do a sohc vtec on nitrous, have MTBER tune it and spray the shit out of it until it blows. Then repeat the steps.
