Did your tuner or mechanic tell you what to do to try & resolve the problem ?
I am guessing he said:
It is close to impossible for a tuner to resolve an issue which he has no control over.
In example: If your motor has massive blowby due to you driving the vehicle untuned & cracking ringlands in your bottom end. Your tuner can't do shit for you, this is your fault.
The solution: Fix/Prepair your vehicle before you have it tuned. Don't skimp out on turbo seals, compression tests, leakdown tests etc.
