Well, as most of you know, my car was pretty damn loud... On the last setup, I had an open 2.5" downpipe, and on this motor, I just had a 3" downpipe with a resonator welded on...

Well, I finally got an exhaust... I traded Vertigo (Blake) my labor, and a muffler, for his old 3" exhaust piping... and this past weekend, I finally got around to having everything installed...

Thursday, I took my car up to Chavez Motorsports to have their l33t fabricator KJ work his magic on my car... Well, most of the day Thursday was spend modifying the downpipe (extending it, and adding a flex and a flange) to bolt up to the exhaust... KJ really took his time practically rebuilding the whole downpipe, and did a GREAT job (It looks great, too bad I had to cover it with my JDM heat wrap ) Anyway, by the time he was done with the downpipe and bolting up the mid section and helping with oil leaks etc., he was pretty tired, as was keith, so we called it a day...

Yesterday (Saturday) morning/afternoon, I finally got the car back up there to finish the rear section... KJ got this thing done perfectly... Just how I wanted it... It may not look great (looks like a school bus exhaust), but thats what I wanted, so he did it... Just kinda adds to the effect of the car...

All in all, my experience was great, as usual... They went above and beyond to satisfy me, and get the job done correctly, and Im pleased with the work they did... And you can sure tell the difference between KJs welds, and the booger welds that were on the exhaust pipes.. WOW, what a difference

Nice to see your happy with the work. This is what we strive for and seeing posts like this makes us feel we are doing our jobs to your expectations or better. If you need anything else....welding or parts at 3am you know who to call.

The welds to extend the downpipe are ok. But the quickie mig weld on the muffler is nothing I'm proud of. LOL. Glad it quieted the car up for you.

Given the circumstances and what I gave you to work with, I think you did a great job... No complaints from me.... I can actually hear what people are saying on the phone when Im driving!!! (I use speakerphone to avoid distractions )
