Sorry man but that is the gayest shit ever. Matt did it to his EG and I rag on his ass all the time. People always ask me why his hood is fucked up. It's not my style, however, it might be yours so do what you like!

 

i think it make minimal difference, it gives the engine bay head a way to get out

 

a guy on honda tech, did some IAT and temp dataloggin with some digital thermometers, and it showed on an average of 2 degrees cooler, not much for the work if you ask me, and it wouldnt really do much for performance either


just cut a couple holes in the hood!

Just get one of those mad tyte F&F hood scoops, or maybe even a big mustang style cowl hood!!!

 

yeah i had a big mustang style cowl hood... i gained like 500 whp. but i took it off cause i couldnt see the road. lol

 

It depends on what you have done. I have a switch wired to my ac fan that blows the heat off my headers over my valve cover and pushes to the direction of the back of the hood so whenever i go to the track or am doing autocross i just flip it on and i have written down and done tests on it and it lowerd it by a deacent 17 Degrees. However for every day i dont use it proped up cause it will give you all of like 2 degrees cooler . Now if it is an EK with your AC removed and the front grill removed its directing air into the engine and if the hod is proped it will flow out to the back. But it's up to you some people like it some people dont I say fuck it do what please you
