ls swap in a dx
how can i put my b18a1 in my dx hatch without splicing wires?? is there a wiring harness i can buy or something?? and if not what wires have to be spliced for the b18 to run

you have to get an si wiring harness for your motor. if you dont want to do that than you have to splice wires(im assuming you have an 88 dx hatch from your name)

It will not work with a si harness because from the firewall back that harness is missing the inj. signal wires along with the crank angle. You need to either rewire your dx harness to mpfi or swap both the interior and engine harness which means removing the dash and all the A/C stuff too. Much easier to rewire the dx harness.

i meant the WHOLE harness lol. not just the engine bay. just rewire the old harness, its ALOT easier and just as effective.

i can build your dx harness into mpfi.you will just have to switch 2 wires and plug in 4 pins at the ecu..pretty simple.just takes time building the harness....

hey thanks for the help guys im going to the junkyard tomorrow to get a wiring harness...right now my car is completly gutted and has no wires at all..just the ones for the b18..im gonna look for si but if they dont have it ill get bak to u doch16crx on how to rebuild the harness..it should be easy since its out of the car..thanks again
