wow.... 1st off I am not going to take sides or any thing like that I am just going to post how it went ….from what I saw/ heard

Shawn and alpha and tried to make several dyno pass’s but threw out the whole time they couldn’t make a clean pass “the rpm’s kept going every “ they had sat for a while and waited for James to help out since tom didn’t know what to do “that’s when I had called you James to see were you were but you had just pulled in” after that they talked to you and I am not sure what happen from there because I went out with tom to go look for some parts for my car ……….I came back and alpha and Shawn were going home to empty his catch can or some thing and let MTBER tune some ones car …… I had called them when mtber was finished with that car and told them there was another car that had to make some pass’s when that mustang was almost done I gave them a ring and told them to come back up and finish tuning but from what I under stand Shawn didn’t have time to do that since he to go to his birthday party and that’s were all of the miss under standing came in to play

From my experience with race related I know James will try to make things right and I know alpha and Shawn are good people …. Hell Shawn gave me a part that I needed and it was a part I wasn’t going to be able to get the same day it seemed

I am sorry things went a little sour for you guys.

I have yet to have a problem or bad experience with Race Related's staff or equipment.

Every time I have needed something such as a tool, James & the guys at RR have provided me with their tools to use.

Sucks you guys had a bad experience there... Im sure James will do what he can to make things right, and assure your next visit goes smoothly... When John (mtber) was tuning my car there, we had some issues, and James and the guys helped out as much as they could, and were very professional and courteous about everything... We had the same issue with the ignition pickup and some dyno settings, and James and the guys took a break from what they were doing to help us out, and assure everything went as good as possible given the time constraints we were under, and certain other issues, such as having a dead battery so we couldnt turn the car off on the dyno

So far Ive had nothing but good experiences with Race Related, and Im confident in saying that now that James is aware of these issues, he will be sure they get resolved...

i would not say that my time there was bad,James is a stand up personand did provide me with time and a few tools that i for got to bring.my problem was that the ignition pickup on the dyno would not hold over 7000 and we could not get it fixed in the 4 hrs that my ride was straped to the dyno.we talked for a min. while james was adjusting the valves on another customers car and he said something about not really needing the pickup to read to dyno the car.i am not able to tune the car myself and the person that was there with me Alpha was looking for the reading from that pickup to do what he needed to do.we have street tuned the car countless times with not much trouble and i wanted to dyno so i could 1 get the boost up to my goal,2adjust the cam gears out,3finish up with the tune so i can enjoy the time and money i put into my ride.i don't have a problem with james or race related, what made my day foul was that the dyno did not want to work for us,the car sat for almost an hour because james was gone to help someone,my car came off the dyno the same as it went on.we spent 4 hrs there and got nowhere.yes james said i could come back after the other cars were done for no extra charge and no i am not bashing james or race related.i did not however expect to have to pay full price for the time due to the problem with the dyno.i waited a long time to get there to tune and due to time and other oblagations it will be some time before i will be able to have the time to do it again.so thanks to everyone involved for their time.Alpha,X,Jason and James...

Exactly. I could see $100.00 - $150.00 for just being on the dyno but $400.00. Come on

I feel like this would be better off if both parties talked the rest of this out through a PM, IM or a phone call. I hope you both can resolve this issue.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
