when is that last time you had a tune up? cheapest thing would be to change the cap rotor and plugs, i had the same problem, changed the cap and rotor and ran fine. cap and rotors usualy have to be replaced every 30k miles. as the air gap increases b/t the contacts and rotor, its increases the resistance creating a bigger gap to jump , which can cause misses and breaking up like that.
PS be careful taking the rotor out, dont strip the screw like me. and also if it hasnt been changed in awhile it might not want to come off, i had to break mine piece by piece to get the rotor off be carful doing that also so you dont damage the shaft.
i have that same motor in my DA. good luck.

You didn't say if you are FI. If you are FI, having the correct heat range and gap on the plugs is very important.

Oh hes Charged ? there could a few issues, Blowing out Spark, Not a Strong Enough Ign. System. Bad Ignitor which is common in a Charged Honda, they overwork and burn out. Like Vance said Heat range (depth) of your plugs. and again Non Seated Spark Plug Wires. *wink* lol
