starter problems ?

yea it was the switch that was in the clutch pedal thanxz a lot guys ...

haha, yeah, i had that problem last week.....the discount down the road didnt know how to test my starter and said it was bad at first. then i had them test the new one too. didnt work either, so i told them how i thought the starter should be hooked up on the bench and they tested it that way and it was fine. anyways, that switch on my car was just pushed back, needed some adjustment and everything is fine now. now i know how to change my starter though!
moral of the story, have them test the new starter too.

instead of taking the starter out to test it, just apply a 12v reference to the starter solnoid. like rang said.

Right on! If their good/new starter won't work in the store,
guess who's time just got wasted when you find that out
after you took it home and put it in!-Bob
