crx owners (water Leak)

thats exactly where mine leaks to. i was reading on the net, that if you follow the black strip on the roof that goes from the windshield to the hatch, that where it meets the wheather stripping for the hatch right under that is where it usally cracks.

that was my thought because i dont have a sun roof but how do you get that strip off to check under it.

i know of three other crx's that leak in the same spot and it has us all scratching our heads like monkeys.

i also heard that the rear wiper sprayer could be the problem but that is not the problem because mine is tight and the hose that hooks to it is not leaking.

i am getting to the point where i am going to have to gut the interior out just to see if i can find it.

all i can say is this really sucks. we should all get to gether and see if we can find these damn leaks.

the sunroof has a drain tube on all 4 corners that allows any water to exit the underside of the car so I doubt its the sunroof. I would look into the weather stripping, I have the same issue and if I were keeping the crx I would replace all the weather seal in the hatch area.

but what about the rain gutters on the roof how do you get those off with out tearing them up so i can see if there is a crack under them

under the rain gutters is just the body of the car....so yes id say its weather stripping

the drains are prob. clogged they are in the rear behind the plastic's if thse are good then my rear washer sprayer also leaked and ran down the hatch to the tail lights but also you might wanna put new hatch seals on.
