honda civic with idle surge,HELP!

haha mine in my 90 ex was bad... took it off.. put some duct tape on it and bolted it back on.. it was just dead... so blocked it off and just put a hole in the vac line to get it to idle on.. ~700-800 warm.. ~ 500-600 when cold in the morning... works for me.. its just a pos 300 daily beater

ok, iacv valve has a white thing on it with a plug...umm i dont know how to describe it. it has 2 12mm bolts holding it on. its directly on the back of the manifold. if thats not it try any vaccuum lines that may not be connected.
