Swap or turbo?

Default Swap or turbo?

Currently i have a 97 Civic EX. Should i swap to a b18b (ls swap) or just keep the d and turbo it?

Depends on how deep your pocket is. Turbo it if cash is a little thight right now, swap if you got enough. At the end, youre going to get them both, right?
Run that bitch until it blows, then you got a reason to get a B18

lol. pockets are deep enough for either. i was thinking about doing the b18b swap then turboing it later on.. but havent had much luck finding a b18b or a decent shop to do the work

youre d series with a decent $1500 turbo kit will make almost 200whp and cost maybe a total of $2k after tuning and everything. youre b18b swap with basic bolt ons is gonna cost about the same but make only 130-140whp. but then again the b18b does has a lot more potential later on down the road compared to the d16y8.

nice.. i think the b18b is the better route.. my friend has the new cobra and i need to keep up with him... doubt the d series will take it that far

try hmotorsonline.com i got a motor on the way from them right now. if you want local try ace used auto in tampa. i got an ls swap from there a while back. its still running.
