Staying sohc....so what engine?
I say get the JDM d15b there are really cheap on http://www.osakajdmmotors.com/introhonda.htm and boost the shit out of it. You will suprise alot of ppl when you tell them that you just won with a single cam hehe.
just get a y8 head , for around $250 , get the vtec solenoid , and ecu you should be able to do this around $500 then homemade turbo , half the work
or buy my TV/DVD player for your hatchie goodluck , where did the yellow go????

ide definitly go with the y8. by the time the y8 came out, all the bugs have been worked out(atleast most)

the reason i dont want to do just the head, is because i have the dx tranny, with a stock clutch, it would be pointless. Id rather buy the whole engine with a short geared tranny

I have had , b series....b20's , b16's , built ls's , nitrous and all motor applications......i liek the single cam deal because they make nice torque ( especially in the bigger applications ie: f series) If i was going to do a d series though , i would go with a y5.....sleeve it , high compression...nitrous. jsut to be different.

i with cold_beer. i went with a jdm zc single cam in my first crx, gutted it, CAI, 4-2-1 headers, hi-flowcat, and cat back. i used to smack ls's, with the same mods, day in , day out... bye at least 3 cars from a dig thru 4th
