yo man i got an ls/vec crx, i love it but if you are new in the game then i would bo another route. i also had a crx with an ls it was pretty tight but i would do a built single cam or something small to start off. but let me know when you are going to do i might be able to help out i also live in lakeland

 

i live in winter haven and i do sohc also and have quite a bit of sohc experience...but first IS YOUR CAR DPFI OR MPFI???? dual point has a big canister for an intake and multipoint has four injectors...let us know so we can help

 

Best bang for your buck is a ls ,....IMO , one of the easiest swaps.

If the car is DPFI aka dual point fuel injection ( it will say it on the intake manifold) u need to convert it to Multy port fuel injection (mpfi) get some b serise swap mounts and some swap linkage (500$ max) get a ls swap $1200 (max for a stock motor+cable tranny) invest in a good clutch/PP combo. Bam , Drop it in.

100 % agreed. ls is the best way to go if your on a budget and want the most power for a tight budget
