it was definately the timing belt...i took off the valve cover and the belt was almost smooth where the teeth came off....i've got everything torn down up until i got to that frikkin crank pulley bolt...THAT thing is a pain in the ass....i've tried pushing a ratchet w/ my foot (with a cheater bar on the end)...tried electric impact wrench (no compressor here so)...i dont have a breaker bar yet so im gonna try to get one tomorrow and try jumping up and down until either the bolt comes loose or something breaks (already broke one extension today with my foot)....any ideas to help it come out easier?????

there is a tool that you can use to hold the crank pully in place. then you can just use a good ratchet and, a jack handle, or a good impact. if an air impact wont do it then it needs to either be heated with a REALLY hot torch or some how hold the crank from turning and do the above. its a bitch because honda puts some kinda thread lock on it i think.
