Suspension Techniques sells a front/rear set with 25.4mm front and 19mm in the back. Eibach makes a set also with 27mm front and 21mm rear. This is going on a GSR teg. Is bigger always better, anyone have experience with these items? Also- and most importantly, is it worth the money over stock.

 

Opinion: I like the security of a flat-cornering car with zero lean.

When I pass the motorcycles; straight-line braking into
an offramp, it's good to know I'm won't be doing the lean-and-tilt boogey
into the wall..........thank goodness we don't all drive in the same spirited manner.

I like the security of being able to dodge a concrete block
in my lane without doing the 3-point-nose-down-butt-high stance
of an out of control 20 year old Buick.

Bigger bars give security. Double stock bars will do that but require
making/adapting some brackets. As the car leans less, less negative
camber is required in the front end to compensate for body roll.
Adding positive castor will make the car straighten up faster
coming out of a turn. Some alignment specs call for zero toe-in
on front wheel drives, but I'm still undecided on that one.......

As to money, I compare diameter with price. Bar diameter and function are more important to *me* than chrome/cadmium plating, and decals
that I'm not about to put on my car anyway.....my $.02......

 

its a 94 but modification is required to run type r bar. What size is it anyway?

 

I have the Suspension Techniques Rear bar and I have had it for a while, and I love the way it feels. I just ordered the Suspension Techniques Front one yestarday. I would recommend that one.
